Celebrate the end of Summer and spend an afternoon in the park with your dog. Join ROMP for our 2nd Annual Paws in the Park / Cool Waters Doggy Dip on Labor Day.
Paws in the Park will be held at Greenfield Park in pinic areas 2 & 4 from 1-530 pm. The Doggy Dip is from 630-8 pm at Cool Waters Aquatic Center in Greenfield Park. Paws in the Park is FREE / admission to the Dip is $5/dog.
Paws in the Park features lure coursing, food provided by Open Flame, games/contests, demos, local vendos, and resuces with adoptable dogs.
ROMP is pleased to welcome:
- Wild Goose Chasers
- A team of herding dogs used by Milwaukee County Parks to herd geeses off of local gold courses and beaches. (Demo at 330 pm)
- Lure Coursing Fanatics
- Watch or let your dog try this fun canine sport.
- Steppinstones Dog Training
- Trainer Michelle Lipski will provide tips and answer questions. (Demo at 2 pm)
- HomeAgain Microchip
- Get your dog chipped for $25. Veterinary services provided by Spirit of 76 Vet Clinic.
- MADACC
- Get your pet licensed and your annual dog park permit.
- Portable Pet Groomers
- Offering ear cleaning and nail clipping.
Contests start at 5 pm. Participate and win prizes!!!
